  • PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

    Sole Thickness - 6 mm
Zumrud Zerrin draws from the richness of deep green velvets historically reserved for court attire, where colour conveyed prosperity and permanence. The surface is treated as a composed field of ornament, allowing gold embroidery to build depth through repetition, balance, and density. Designed to feel grounded and opulent, the jutti reflects a lineage of ceremonial craftsmanship interpreted with restraint and clarity.
The jutti is shaped in a traditional silhouette, defined by a soft scalloped Mehrab neckline that frames the vamp with quiet precision. The velvet base is worked with hand-executed antique gold zardozi, forming dense floral and ornamental naqsh arranged in measured placement across the surface. The embroidery builds richness through compact stitchwork, allowing the velvet ground to hold depth without visual heaviness. A closed-back construction maintains continuity of form, while a soft-structured build allows the jutti to retain shape with comfort. The flat traditional sole remains proportioned for ceremonial and extended wear, finished with hand-bound edges and careful hand assembly throughout.
