SPECIFICATIONS
Colour: Teal Blue
A teal blue silk choga. The embroidery motifs are derived from a mid 17th century Mughal panel and are rendered with resham zardozi, aari ka kaam, kasab-dori Marodi ka kaam, sequins, and pearls. The choga is complemented with an embroidered kamarbandh and patka. It is worn over a silk angrakha that features a print which is referenced from an early 20th century block printed cotton fragment from Sanganer, Rajasthan which is layered with resham zardozi, kasab-dori marodi ka kaam along with resham thread and gota textures and a handloom silk churidaar. The look is completed with a silk stole that is layered with zardozi and aari embroidery and a pair of handcrafted shoes. -
