PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
Heel Hight - 2.5"
Taaq refers to the arched niches found in historic architecture, where ornamentation was framed within structure rather than applied freely. This heel draws from that architectural discipline, translating it into surface craftsmanship. The upper is fully hand embroidered using exceptionally fine and thin metal dabka, a process that demands prolonged hours and unwavering control to achieve consistency across the surface. Vintage antique gold dabka is layered with vintage silver dabka in varying thicknesses, creating depth, movement, and tonal contrast without visual excess. The embroidery follows a continuous rhythm, explaining the richness through labour rather than volume. The back of the heel features detailed jaali-style dabka work, developed through open-pattern metal embroidery that mimics lattice architecture. This section requires heightened precision, as spacing and alignment determine both strength and clarity of the pattern. The silhouette is finished with a softly tapered square toe that balances tradition with wearability. A 2.5-inch heel provides elevation while maintaining composure, with proportions designed for stability and ceremonial endurance. The construction supports extended wear without compromising the sharpness of form or surface detailing. -
