  • PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

    Sole Thickness - 6 mm
Naqsh-e-Gulab translates to “the imprint of a rose,” reflecting a design language built around softness, layering, and measured ornament. The jutti opens on a muted mauve base that carries the primary surface embroidery, chosen for its ability to hold fine metal and thread work while maintaining warmth and depth. The back panel shifts into a deep green velvet base, introduced through colour-block appliqué to create contrast without visual disruption. This transition is deliberate, allowing the shoe to read as composed from every angle rather than decorative only from the front.
The surface embroidery is executed using rose-gold dori paired with vintage silver zari, worked together to create tonal movement rather than sharp contrast. Motifs are built gradually through directional stitching, giving the impression of floral forms unfolding across the vamp. Fine dabka and bead work are used sparingly to highlight contours and intersections, adding definition without overwhelming the delicacy of the base embroidery. The detailing is intentionally dainty, requiring extended crafting time to maintain precision, spacing, and consistency across the curved surface of the jutti.
The silhouette follows a classic jutti form with a sculpted mehrab scalloped neckline, shaped to frame the embroidery with architectural softness while enhancing comfort at the throat. The closed back construction provides support, and the flat profile is proportioned for extended wear during evening and sunset-toned occasions. Colour balance and embroidery density are carefully controlled to ensure the jutti feels light on the foot despite its intricacy.
