Khizaan Zar Heels are constructed as a traditional Indian slip-on, elevated on a balanced 1-inch heel that offers lift without compromising comfort. The form is grounded and sculptural, allowing the surface work to remain the focus.
Set on a rich brick red base, the upper is densely worked in antique gold embroidery, composed through rhythmic placement rather than overt symmetry. The embroidery carries a sense of seasonal depth—muted, warm, and deliberate—where gold sits into the base instead of floating above it. Subtle tonal variations within the ground enhance the richness of the surface, giving the piece visual weight without heaviness.
The open-back slip-on construction allows for ease of wear, while the proportioned heel supports extended ceremonial use. The design balances ornament with restraint, making Khizaan Zar a statement that feels composed, confident, and enduring. -

Base Fabric: - Hand-embroidered textile base, developed to support dense metallic embroidery without distortion. The surface accommodates layered zari, dabka, nakshi, crystals, beads, and sequins, allowing depth, structure, and longevity in surface work.
Lining: - Suede lining, selected for its soft hand-feel and ability to provide comfort, grip, and breathability within open and slip-on constructions.
Insole & Sole: - Premium faux leather footbed, cushioned and shaped to support extended wear while maintaining a refined, flat-to-low-heel profile. Finished with a TPR composition sole, layered and stitched to provide flexibility, durability, and a composed, quiet step.
Care: - Store in a dust bag away from moisture and direct sunlight. Handle as a handcrafted textile and embroidery-intensive piece. Avoid contact with water, perfume, and abrasive surfaces. Clean gently with a dry, soft cloth only. -
