INSPIRATION STORY
Tucked away in the dusty folds of time, somewhere between the hills and the hush of wild grass, stands an old hunting lodge — abandoned by men, but kept alive by memory.
Once a place of arrival, of viewing and being viewed — it now belongs to three women who live there like keepers of a secret. Daughters of a forgotten estate, or perhaps just muses out of time, they spend their days moving between verandahs, reading corners, and the faintly perfumed shadows of a wooden vanity.
One summer, they decide to stage something of their own: A portrait session — not for society, not for suitors, but for themselves.
They stitch a backdrop from remnants of fabrics locked up in the attic. Fill the lodge with rose blossoms and call a wandering photographer from a nearby town. And dress in lehengas and sarees, echoes of heirlooms, and quiet rebellion.
They are seen, finally, as they wish to be seen and not as mere memories of a forgotten era.Tucked away in the dusty folds of time, somewhere between the hills and the hush of wild grass, stands an old hunting lodge — abandoned by men, but kept alive by memory.
