PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
Sole Thickness - 6 mm
Gulposh Zahab translates to “gold draped in flowers,” and this jutti embodies that idea through continuity rather than statement motifs. The base is a rich burnt-orange velvet, chosen for its depth and ability to hold fine embroidery with warmth rather than sheen. Across the surface, dainty floral and paisley motifs unfold in a measured rhythm, inspired by courtyard gardens where patterns repeat gently and intentionally rather than symmetrically.
The embroidery flows seamlessly from vamp to sides, creating a sense of movement and quiet abundance. Gold-toned detailing is applied with restraint, allowing the velvet to breathe while adding just enough luminosity to catch light softly. The silhouette follows a classic jutti form with a softly contoured neckline and closed-back construction, grounding the design in wearability. Balanced embroidery density ensures the shoe remains light on the foot despite its richness, making it suited for long ceremonial hours. -

INSPIRATION STORY
Our footwear draws from the continuity of historic form and lived wearability, where silhouette, surface, and craftsmanship are held in equal regard. Each pair is shaped as an object of adornment for the feet, built with the patience and precision once reserved for ceremonial making. Rooted in age-old embroidery practices and guided by considered proportion, the collection honours heritage while remaining attuned to those who wear it today.
