  • PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

A vivid kurti-lehenga inspired by the colours of undivided Punjab — striking fuschia, vibrant parakeet and burnished rust, resting against one another like fragments of an old homeland carried across generations. The ensemble is wrought with painstaking marodi ka kaam and age-old zardozi embroideries, with artworks drawn from 18th century Persian carpets as well as antique Kashmiri tilla shawls which are preserved in the RAH archives.

The sweeping multi-hued borders trace their origins to sacred geometry and the storied Awadhi chatta-pattis of yore, creating a silhouette that feels both cinematic and deeply nostalgic — like a fading hand-tinted portrait discovered inside an heirloom trunk, every colour upon her belonging to a memory she cannot return to, but only wear.
