Old archival textiles become fragments of memory; traditional garments become traces of lives once lived. The great love stories of the region — Heer and Ranjha, Sohni and Mahiwal — linger through the collection as echoes of separation, devotion and impossible longing.\u003cbr\u003eLungis, anarkalis, shararas, lehengas and sherwanis unfold in earthy fawns, beiges, mustard, taupe, ivory, midnight, black and deep maroon, with glimmers of gold, bronze and copper. Archival references are reimagined through gota, zardozi embroidery and layers of couture craftsmanship.\u003cbr\u003eYet Bagh is not an attempt to reconstruct a Punjab that once was.\u003cbr\u003eIt is a dream of a Punjab remembered — and perhaps, imagined. A place where histories overlap, identities meet, borders disappear, and stories belong to everyone. At its heart, Bagh is secular.
