A rani pink tulle lehenga. The vivid skirt is an interpretation of archival Pichhwai and Chinoiserie textiles, amalgamated and reimagined through various techniques. The skirt features a surreal waterscape of gently floating lotus blossoms in languid pools of crystalline waters brimming with iridescent fish (reminiscent of the sun kissed lakes of Udaipur), interspersed with a variety of avian motifs including bejewelled peacocks and Chinese pheasants. The motifs are rendered using a special form of appliqué, marodi ka kaam, resham zardozi, kasab, dabka, naqshi, sequins, pearls and semi-precious stones. It is paired with an illusion tie-up choli and the look is completed with a multi-hued tulle dupatta which features an aerial view of a swirling fish-filled lotus pond.
Note: All RAH outfits comprise of a three component set. Accessories worn by model including potli and additional dupatta/veil are not included. -
